Introduction
Hello, Carol Carlson with August-Gram Consulting. We are brand new to the Chamber and are looking forward to meeting other dynamic business people in 2008.
Please describe your business:

August-Gram Consulting takes the guesswork out of complex decision-making.We identify, define, and solve challenging management and technical problems so clients can capitalize on growth opportunities finding the best value with the least risk.

What makes your product or service special or unique?

We work side-by-side with your staff to understand the issues, analyze complex data and apply statistical models to help you make more informed decisions. Our learning curve is done on our time. Client's pay for solutions - not training time.

What is the most effective way for you to build a relationship with a client or prospective customer?

Since we use analytical approachs to change problems into opportunities, one way to connect with potential clients is to demonstrate skills in a seminar with example business situations and data.

How do you like to give back or support the community(ies) you serve?

There is shocking shortfall of young people studying engineering and mathematics. As part of the STEM team,I would like to change that trend in Colorado by promoting these fields in a hands-on way.Let's show them how engineering touches their world every day.

What would you like business leaders to know about you and/or your business? (add something fun or interesting, hobbies, interests, etc.)

Our recommendations are based on analyses, not intuition. By interpreting the outcome of economic and mathematical models, we provide validation for our recommendations. Would you expect less from an over educated engineer and avid triathlete?
