TRY SCUBA!

Ever since you can remember you've wanted to try scuba, right? Maybe you watched a cool movie on television that had scuba divers in it or a friend just finished diving with dolphins, turtles and other neat critters, on a recent trip to the islands.

So if you're interested -- and we know you are -- then come join your fellow H.Y.P.E. friends on Wednesday, May 21st at 6:00 pm. A-1 Scuba and Travel Center (a fellow chamber member) will be hosting this fun adventure at their five-star facility in Englewood.

It's lots of fun, easy to do and takes very little time. Besides getting to blow bubbles underwater, you'll do somersaults, handstands, swim through hula-hoops, throw underwater frisbees, ride an underwater scooter and just about any other fun thing you can imagine.

GETTING STARTED IS EASY
In order to sign up for this private South Metro Chamber experience, you will need to complete a Discover Scuba Diving form (Go to this link: http://www.a1scuba.co.... or stop by A-1 Scuba & Travel Center) which contains important forms and explains some of the safety aspects of scuba diving. Complete the information and give it to you're A-1 professional the night of your Try Scuba experience. NOTE: A positive response to any of the medical questions on the Discover Scuba form will require that you consult with your physician and provide him with a separate Medical form. Your doctor will need to complete a designated section on the back of the form, stating that you are medically fit to dive. Prior to entering the swimming pool you will need to provide the signed document to the A-1 professional. Sorry, but you will not be allowed to enter the pool without the signed document. Remember, this is only necessary if you answered any of the Discover Scuba Diving forms medical questions with a 'yes'.

Prior to your pool dive, your A-1 professional will collect and review the appropriate documents, give a brief orientation and then take you on your first underwater adventure.

Get ready for the experience of a lifetime. Many talk about it but here's your chance to "Just Do It!"

Is there any way we could SCUBA on another night? I want to SCUBA but Wednesday nights aren't good for me.

Who attended?

    •  I would strongly encourage all chamber members to take advantage of this chance to get to know the people at A-1 Scuba and Travel, it was a blast! I will be reccommending them to all my friends and co-workers. I plan on getting certified and taking advantage of their connections to be able to "swim with the fishes" (NOT in the Brooklyn sense) at the downtown aquarium.
