Kanika Wilkerson
"I think this was a great start to getting people thinking about electronic communication. It would be great to hold follow up meetings that dive more into the different types of Social Media Marketing and exactly how businesses can tap into that technology to stay competitive, communicate with customers, and market their business. Perhaps start a series... *Blogging for Business *How to start an effective email campaign *Effectively marketing your business through Online Communities *What's a Widget?--Three ways it can help you spread the word about your business. *Online Advertising...Pay Per Click, CPM, CPC...what's the difference and is it worth it? How do you measure results? *Search Engine Optimization, what is it, and why does my web site need it? Just some ideas for topics, but based on today's meeting, it sounds like people have a vested interest in this type of information. Great start!" -
Jeff Burns
"I think the audience would be better served if there was more balance in the presentation. To embrace all the suggested technologies unchallenged implies that more is always better or, if it's new, it must have benefit. I believe that if we are to claim leadership in these areas, the better advice to offer is to carefully analyze these technologies for what they will do for us and (more importantly) what they will not do for us, and to choose carefully which ones to embrace. For example, blogs are conceptually wrong to me. I have no interest in soliciting advice from the general public at large. I cannot even justify the time it would take to "keep up" with the advice offered to me by hundreds of people whose qualifications I have no way of evaluating. There was no balance in the presentation." -
Hans Houtman
"I rate my experience as 'bad' but I reather describe it as "not good" which isn't as bad as "bad". The presentation was announced as part of the leadership forum series. and how the world is changing so fast with electronics that leaders better pay serious attention to this. Yet all that was presented were handy, cool and useful websites. Bottomline is that technology is wondereful, but only in the hands of gifted, mature leaders. I would have liked to hear more about that and how these two issues are related. But maybe that was not the intention." -
Smokey Allan Ritter
"Very useful new info for me! Thanks John and Laura!" -
Michael Tafoya

"This topic could definitely be discussed more in-depth at a longer seminar. It was a good, brief overview of the changes in electronic communications. " -

"I appreciated the insight on the topic from the guest speaker." -
Scott Steinsvaag
"Great topic and presenter, Laura Higgins. I just wish it was longer."

Steve Chapleski
"Good topic, not a lot of 'take-aways" other than to keep up w technology."
